We will be performing maintenance on the production Banner database on Saturday April 21st 2018 starting at 12:00PM with anticipated completion by 10:00PM the same day. Both Internet Native Banner (INB) and Cougarnet will be unavailable during this time.

CougarBucks GET system is down.

This issue was resolved on 4/6/18 at 10:00am.

The GET system is experiencing problems and will not allow users to add funds to their Cougar Cards.

Administrative Application (other) Argos server is down.

The server has been fixed and Argos is back up and running normally.

The Argos system server is currently down and not working. We are investigating the issue and will update this when we have more information.

Telephone Maintenance, scheduled 2 weeks ago

ITS Networking will be performing maintenance to the network routing and firewalls for the Voice/Telephone network on all SIUE campuses, (Alton, East St. Louis, and Edwardsville), on Wednesday 4 April 2018 from 5:00am to 7:00am. During this time there may be brief outages of phone calls and phone instruments. All maintenance will be completed by 7:00 am.

The issue has been found and resolved. Argos system is up and operational.

The Argos system server is currently down. It has been reported and is being investigated currently. We will update this notice when more information becomes available.

Mail RESOLVED - Mail link on SIUE homepage not working.

The SIUE homepage link to Office 365 mail is not loading correctly. While we are working on a solution to the link, you can access your email by going directly to portal.office.com.

Turnitin Turnitin

The vendor has informed us that Turnitin is now fully functional. If you have any issues please contact the ITS Help Desk at (618) 650-5500 or help@siue.edu. Thank you.


ITS has been informed by the vendor that Turnitin is currently experiencing issues preventing files from being submitted or viewed in the Feedback Studio inside of Blackboard. The vendor is currently working on a solution to the problem but there is no estimated time for full service to be restored. Additional information is available from the page at:

Network issues are currently impacting access to some administrative applications, such as CougarNet and Banner. Refreshing the login screen may allow access in some cases. ITS is currently investigating the issue.
