EMS System Upgrade

Scheduled EMS System Upgrade – September 16

The EMS system will undergo a scheduled upgrade on Tuesday, September 16, and will be unavailable from 6:00 AM to approximately 12:00 PM. During this time, users will not be able to access EMS services.

Following the upgrade, a new web client will be required for continued access. Users will need to install this client manually. Additional instructions and installation files will be made available to relevant user groups.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve system performance and reliability.

Mail outgoing e-mail outage

The partial mail system outage has been resolved. Delayed messages should arrive shortly.

ITS has identified a problem with sending e-mail for some systems and users. We are currently investigating the issue.

Woodland and Prairie Network Maintenance, scheduled 4 years ago

ITS Networking will be performing maintenance to Woodland and Prairie Networking switches beginning at 4/15/21 6:45am. During this time there will be brief network outages. All maintenance will be completed by 7:30am.

FortiClinet (VPN) Websafe Outage

For those experiencing WebSafe issues, the vendor has provided a solution. Unfortunately, it requires users to remove and re-install the application. We have a developed a knowledge base article that steps through the process, https://kb.siue.edu/110242.
