Streaming Server Streaming Server Outage

Streaming Server is now operational - 11/20/17

Currently a third of the movie collection is inaccessible. Server will be rebooted and then checking for errors. We will update as soon as everything is up and running - 11/19/17

Cougarnet Maintenance, scheduled 6 years ago

On Saturday, November 18th, Cougarnet will be unavailable beginning at 12:00 p.m. for necessary system maintenance. We anticipate the system will again be available by Saturday, November 18th at 10:00 p.m.

Banner Banner Login Issues

Some users are currently receiving an error message or a blank screen when logging into Banner. Please reference this knowledge base article https://kb.siue.edu/internal/page.php?id=78210 or contact the ITS Help Desk to put a ticket in for your building technician.

The root cause of the issue has been identified and corrected.

Smart Classrooms Engineering 1150 - laptop connection unavailable

The faulty equipment has been replaced and the classroom is fully operational again.

Due to an equipment failure, the laptop connection is currently unavailable in Engineering 1150. We are working to replace the failed hardware as quickly as possible.

Mail Outlook Email Issues

The issue appears to be resolved. There have been no other reported occurrences and Microsoft is not listing this as an issue.

Microsoft is having issues with Outlook email. Many are experiencing email with a header, but no content in the body of the email message.

e-ID Maintenance Service Outage, scheduled 6 years ago

The campus e-ID maintenance service will unavailable Tuesday, Nov 7, for approximately two hours starting at 2pm, while ITS replaces failed hardware.

During the outage, e-ID password change functionality, new account sign-up, and list (lists.siue.edu) administration will all be unavailable.

Office 365 (other) Office 365 Portal Down

The Office 365 portal is down and will not let people log in. The email works on mobile devices and through Outlook. The outage is the Office 365 portal itself.

SIUE Account (other) e-ID Service Outage

The campus e-ID maintenance service will not be available Wednesday, Nov 1, for approximately two hours (from approximately 2:00p.m.- 4:00p.m.) During the outage, e-ID password change functionality will not be available, new account sign up will be unavailable, and list (lists.siue.edu) administration will be unavailable.

AIS AIS and HRSS Outage Due to Maintenance October 29th

Sunday October 29, 2017 8:00am to 11:00 am AIS and HRSS will not be available during the above maintenance period. Patches applied to AIS last weekend are being applied to the HRSS environment. We will let you know once the systems are available and apologize for the inconvenience.

Networking Maintenance, scheduled 6 years ago

ITS Networking will be performing maintenance on the routers for all SIUE Edwardsville Campus networks on Wednesday 25 Oct 2017 between 4:00am and 7:00am. During this time there may be brief network and internet outages to all SIUE Edwardsville Campus Networks. All maintenance will be completed by 7:00 am.
