ITS Networking Maintenance, scheduled 7 years ago

ITS Networking will be performing maintenance to the Supporting Services switches on Wednesday 10/11/17 from 6:30am to 7:30am. During this time there will be brief network and Internet outages. All maintenance will be completed by 7:30 am.

Telephones Network Issues

IP phones are now operational.


IP phones on campus are currently experiencing issues. We are currently working to solve the issue as quickly as possible.

Cougarnet Unable to log into CougarNet using 800# (University ID) and PIN

The only method currently available to sign into CougarNet is with your e-ID and password. ITS is currently working to resolve access issues using 800# (University ID) and PIN.

Wifi Network Issues

Eduroam is currently having an issue enrolling new users. If you already have Eduroam set up on a device you should be able to connect, however, new devices may be unable to connect until this is resolved. We appreciate your patience while we fix this issue.

Cougarnet Cougarnet outage

Cougarnet is back online and working as of 6:00PM.


The issues currently impacting Banner are also making Cougarnet unavailable. Updates will be posted in this space as soon as they become available.

Banner Banner Outage

Banner functionality has been restored if you encounter any issues please contact the ITS Help Desk at (618)650-5500 or help@siue.edu.


We are currently experiencing hardware issues which affect the availability of the Banner test and production systems as well as test and production Blackboard Analytics. We are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issues and will let you know as soon as the systems are back up and running.
